Full Measured Building Survey and 3d Laser Scanning - Marina, Plymouth

This job saw Parker Measured Surveys providing a full topographical survey for a marina in Mount Batten, Plymouth. It came with its fair share of challenges - icy pontoons, rough tidal water, sea spray and a large, complex site to cover. But with the right approach, even tricky conditions become manageable. Using a combination of the Trimble X7 scanner, Leica part of Hexagon Total Station and Emlid GNSS, we captured every detail safely and accurately. All datasets were combined and drawn to Ordnance Survey datum, delivering a clear and reliable foundation for the client’s planning and design work. A complicated job made simple with the right tools, teamwork and workflow. Very satisfying.
